Greetings, and welcome to my website. I am a writer of essays, reviews, and short fiction. My work has appeared in SweetLit, Vita Poetica, Oyster River Pages, The Bluebird Word, The Ekphrastic Review, After the Art, and other publications. I have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best Small Fictions.

In addition to writing, I am studying the art of East Asian brushpainting and calligraphy. I’m currently working on an online gallery that will feature practice paintings and haiku.

I hold a Master of Liberal Arts from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My husband and I live in Northern Virginia along with two precocious cats.
